Overview
Frame Film Roll Archive is a local macOS application developed by Xuequn Ying. The app is designed to browse and organise photo files on your Mac without uploading them to a remote service.
Data collection
The app does not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, or tracking information. It does not sell or share data with third parties.
Photo and folder access
You choose which folders the app may access through the standard macOS folder picker. The app reads supported image files and related file metadata, including filenames, dimensions, file size, and dates, to display and organise your library.
Data stored on your Mac
Folder permissions, ratings, favourites, and film roll metadata are stored locally in the app's container on your Mac. This information is not transmitted to the developer or to a third-party service.
Exports
When you export photos, the app copies selected files to a destination folder you choose. Original photos are not moved by the export process.
Network services
The app does not require an account and does not use cloud storage, advertising networks, analytics services, or external tracking tools.
Your control
You can stop using a library by no longer opening it. You can remove the app's locally stored settings and metadata by deleting its application data or uninstalling the app. Your original photo files remain in the folders you control.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app's functionality changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
